Mission: To strengthen the capacity of rural Indians to live healthier, safer, and more empowered lives. Samerth works primarily in the urban areas of Ahmedabad, Rapar, and Nakhatrana block of Kutch District in Gujarat. Their focus is promoting education, healthcare, sanitation, peace building, and other such programs.
Samerth also works in Chattisgarh (central part of India) on issues of safe drinking water, education for the excluded communities from the Baiga Tribes and strengthening Right to Education Act – 2009 in the remote tribal villages.
In urban programmes, Samerth works with disabled citizens. It also runs early childhood education centres for the children of 3 to 6 years who undergo innovative stimulation and creative learning processes.

- Project: Students collaborated with community members to build a water catchment site. Additionally, they implemented a week-long paralegal training for women at risk who can’t afford legal counseling. This will help empower these women to tackle local justice issues and become the ambassadors of women’s issues.
